AFCAT Exam 2023 : Common Admission Test for Air Force is a tests performed by the Indian Air Force to prepare the candidate for Air Force selection in the Air Force as Flight Branch Ground Duty (Technical Branch) or Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch). AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Qualification Details for AFCAT 2023

Flying Branch – Bachelor’s Degree in Any Field with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 Level / B.E. / B.Tech Course.

Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

Electronics in Aeronautical Engineering: 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 60% in Physics and Math and a minimum of 4 years of post-secondary education in Engineering or Technology.

Engineering for Aeronautics Mechanical: Candidates must have a minimum of 60% in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, as well as a four-year engineering or technology degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, aeronautical engineering, or equivalent.

NCC Flying : Senior Division ‘C’ certificate from NCC Air Wing and Other Information as per Flying Branch Eligibility.

AFCAT Age Limit

Flying Branch

Candidates age should be between 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2023, candidates born between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2023.

Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical)

Candidates age should be between 20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2023, it’s mean they are born between 2nd July 1997 to 1st July 2003.

AFCAT – Nationality & Marital Status

Candidate Applying for AFCAT Exam 2023 must has a Citizen of India.

Candidates below the age of 25 Years must have Unmarried at the time of commencement of course.

AFCAT Training Periods

Training will start in the first week of July 2023 for all courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal, Hydrabad. Duration of Training for Flying and Ground duty, Technical Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty Non-Technical Branches is 52 weeks.

AFCAT Salary

Flying Officer

Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed stipend of Rs.56,100/- per month during the training period of One Years.

Pay after Commissioning as per 7th cpc Rs.56,100 – Rs.177500.

AFCAT 2023 Exam Date

AFCAT 2023 Exam for flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) will be held in the month of July 2023.

AFCAT Exam Pattern

AFCAT Exam will be Online. Computer based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) carrying 3 Marks for each right answered and 1 marks will be deducted for each wrong answered.

AFCAT

Subjects – General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.

Questions and Marks – 100 MCQ Question, total 300 Marks.

Time Allowed – 2 Hours

Engineer knowledge test (EKT)

Subjects – Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics.

Questions and Marks – 50 Question, total 150 Marks.

Time Allotted – 45 Minutes.

  • The login credentials will then be sent to this address.

  • Login using your registered email ID and password and choose an entry type, such as AFCAT, NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch, or other.
  • Read the instructions thoroughly before pressing the continue button.
  • Click on ‘Application Form Filling’ and begin entering Your personal details, Address, Qualification, Photo, Signature, etc.
