Eligibility for BIS Recruitment 2022 for Scientist – B
By the closing day for accepting applications, candidates must have the required fundamental educational credentials. Candidates must thus ensure that they meet the requirements listed in the job posting before submitting their applications; otherwise, they will not be considered.
Qualification Details
For Agriculture Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Environment Engineering –
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field with at least 60% overall.
- Possessing a valid GATE score between 2020, 2021 and 2022. The GATE score needs to be valid as on August 26, 2022. (closing date of application)
For Chemistry –
- A Master’s degree in the natural sciences (or) an equivalent degree (in the field of chemistry exclusively), with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60%.
- Possessing a valid GATE score between 2020, 2021 and 2022. The GATE score needs to be valid as on August 26, 2022. (closing date of application)
Age Limit Criteria
- The applicant’s age as of the application deadline must be between 21 and 30.
- The age requirement for BIS departmental candidates, SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and ex-servicemen is relaxed in accordance with the regulations in effect.
BIS Recruitment 2022 – Scientist B Salary
Candidates who are chosen for this post will get a pay level 10 according to the Seventh Central Pay Commission, as well as any appropriate allowances. The gross salary at the time of joining will be about equivalent to 99,969 at Delhi at the time.
