Qualification Details for Eastern Railway Jobs
For Group – C, passed the 12th grade or its equivalent test with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% from a government-recognised education board, council, institution, etc. or a 10th-grade diploma from a reputable board with an NCVT-approved ITI or act apprenticeship. and,
Having Guides and Scouts Qualification
For Group – D, 10th pass on a board that is recognised by the government. OR a 10th-grade diploma from a school with official recognition plus an NCVT-approved ITI or Act apprenticeship. and
Having Guiding and Scouting Qualification.
For both Level-2 and Level-1 jobs (7th CPC), in addition to the Essential Qualifications shown in the above table, Scouts and Guides must also possess the following qualifications:
Any section that has a President Scout, Guide, Rover, Ranger, or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder.
For the previous five years, you had to have participated actively in the Scouting organisation. The “Certificate of Activeness” must be in accordance with Annexure “VIII.”
Should have been present at two events on either the national level OR the level of All Indian Railways AND two events on the state level.
