पदार्थ (Matter):-

जब हम अपने चारों तरफ देखते है तो हमे विभिन्न प्रकार की वस्तुएँ दिखाई देती है जिनका आकर , प्रकार  और आकृति भी भिन्न भिन्न होती है । ये सभी वस्तुएँ कुछ न कुछ स्थान घेरती है या ये बोला जाए कि वे सभी वस्तुएँ जिनमे मात्रा(Mass), आयतन(Volume) हो जिन्हें हम अपनी ज्ञानेन्द्रियों (sense organ) द्वारा महसूस कर सकते है, वे सभी वस्तु चाहे वो जैविक(biotic) हो या अजैविक(abiotic) सभी पदार्थ(Matter)कहलाते है।
